Worship, Praise and Thanksgiving

Welcome to all of my family and friends. If you are reading this, you are indeed apart of my family and friends circle. This is the 9th epiosode of Gospel Urban Soul that was published to the Net on November 20. I apologize, again, for being late on updating the blog.

On this episode, I just wanted to worship, praise and give thanks to God Almighty. I recognize who He is and how powerful, awesome, loving and faithful that He continues to be. We really don't thank Him enough. Especially, when we're facing hard times. We tend to forget where and what he brought us out of.

All of the songs on this episode focus on thanking, praising and worshiping our Heavenly Father. Just forget about your problems and begin to thank Him for what He has done, are doing and will do for your life. He said victory is ours. So if you're going through a storm, know that you are coming out.

Keeping The Faith (Continue to hold on!!!)

Hello and welcome to all. This is the 8th episode of Gospel Urban Soul. This show was published to the Net on November 6th. I am just now getting around to writing about and explaining the purpose for the show. Please accept my apologizes.

I have some very talented and beautiful people on the show offering songs of encouragement and strength to those that are at their breaking point. What you must realize and understand is there will always be problems and trials living in this world. A lot of times the question is asked, "Why does this (accident, tragedy, unfortunate circumstance) has to happen to me?" It doesn't just happen to you, it happens to all of us. Believers and non-believers alike.

Most of the bad situations that we are in, we brought to ourselves by acting in fear of. The majority of times, it's fear of trusting in God. If we would just submit ourselves totally to Him and fully trust God, this life would be an easy walk. To many of us walk by sight and not by faith.

What is faith? Faith is, as explained in Hebrews 11:1, "...the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. People choose to walk in fear and doubt.

If you believe in God and accepted His son, Jesus, into your life. Don't worry, be happy. God is your strength. Stand firmly on His word. He can not lie. Whatever you are believing in Him for, continue to believe. We fail and fall because we give up hope.

I urge you strongly to continue to hold on and believe. Your breakthrough is coming!!
